Referral Programme — Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 24 March 2026 Programme: MFiling Refer & Earn Queries: referral@mfiling.in
By participating in the MFiling Refer & Earn Programme, you unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before sharing your referral link.

1 Eligibility

1.1 — Who Can Participate as a Referrer

There are two eligible categories of referrers:

  • Registered Users: Any individual or business holding an active MFiling account, whether or not they have made a previous purchase.
  • Existing Customers: Any individual or business that has previously completed a paid order on MFiling.

Both categories are issued unique referral links accessible from their MFiling account dashboard and earn rewards on successful qualifying referrals under these Terms.

1.2 — Referee Eligibility

The person being referred (the "Referee") must be a new customer of MFiling who has not previously registered an account or completed any transaction on the platform.

1.3 — Ineligible Parties

The following are not eligible to participate as Referrers: MFiling employees, affiliates, channel partners, and their immediate family members.

2 How the Programme Works

2.1 — Referral Links

Eligible Referrers receive a unique referral link from their MFiling account dashboard. This link must be shared with the Referee before the Referee registers or makes their first transaction on MFiling.

2.2 — Valid Referral Requirements

A referral is only valid and eligible for a reward when both of the following conditions are met:

  1. The Referee registers on MFiling using the Referrer's unique referral link.
  2. The Referee completes a qualifying paid transaction as described in Clause 4 of these Terms.
2.3 — No Retroactive Attribution

Referrals cannot be attributed retroactively. If a Referee has already registered or transacted on MFiling before using the referral link, the referral will not be recognised.

2.4 — Self-Referral Prohibition

Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. This includes the same individual referring themselves using a different account or device, or entities owned, controlled, or managed by the same individual. Self-referrals result in immediate disqualification of both the Referrer and the Referee from the Programme.

2.5 — Number of Referrals

Referrers may make an unlimited number of referrals unless a monthly cap is introduced and communicated by MFiling on the Programme page.

3 Referral Rewards

3.1 — Reward Calculation

Referrers earn a reward equal to 10% of the total eligible professional service fees paid by the Referee, subject to a maximum cap of ₹2,000 per successful referral. Rewards are calculated on actual professional service amounts only and exclude government fees, stamp duties, and statutory charges.

3.2 — Minimum Threshold

A reward is triggered only when the Referee's cumulative eligible service payments reach or exceed ₹10,000. No reward is earned if the Referee's total eligible payments are below this threshold.

3.3 — Illustrative Examples
Referee Eligible PaymentReward (10%)Cap Applied?
₹10,000₹1,000No
₹15,000₹1,500No
₹25,000₹2,000Yes — max cap applied
₹1,00,000₹2,000Yes — max cap applied
3.4 — Payout Method

Rewards are transferred to the Referrer via their registered bank account or UPI ID. The Referrer must provide valid payment details in their MFiling account before the payout date.

3.5 — Reward Timeline

Rewards are credited between the 25th–30th of the calendar month following a 60-day completion period from the date of the Referee's qualifying payment.

Example: If the Referee pays on March 1st → 60-day period ends April 30th → reward credited May 25th–30th.

Rewards are subject to reversal if the Referee's order is subsequently refunded, cancelled, or charged back before the credit date.

3.6 — Non-Transferability & Expiry

Rewards are non-transferable to third parties and have no cash value except as described in these Terms. Unclaimed or uncollected rewards expire 12 months from the date of credit and cannot be reinstated after expiry.

3.7 — Erroneous Credits

MFiling reserves the right to withhold or reverse rewards that were credited erroneously or as a result of fraudulent activity.

4 Qualifying Transactions

4.1 — Definition

A "qualifying transaction" means the first instance (or cumulative instances) of payment(s) made by the Referee for eligible services on MFiling where the Referee's total cumulative professional service fee payment reaches or exceeds ₹10,000. The ₹10,000 threshold may be reached through a single payment or multiple payments.

4.2 — Excluded Transactions

The following are not counted towards qualifying transactions:

  • Free or complimentary services
  • Orders consisting only of government fees, stamp duties, or statutory charges with no professional service component
  • Orders subsequently cancelled, refunded, or charged back
  • Orders placed using promotional codes, coupons, or offers other than referral codes
  • Services specifically marked as excluded on the Programme page from time to time
4.3 — Programme Page Controls

MFiling reserves the right to update the list of eligible and excluded services on the Programme page at any time without prior notice.

5 Fraud & Misuse

5.1 — Prohibited Activities

MFiling enforces a zero-tolerance policy on fraud and abuse. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Creating fictitious, duplicate, or fake accounts to generate referral rewards
  • Distributing referral links via spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or automated systems
  • Misrepresenting MFiling's services while promoting referrals
  • Using bots, scripts, or automated means to simulate referrals or transactions
  • Offering cash, gifts, or other inducements to Referees solely to generate a transaction for reward purposes
  • Any other activity that MFiling, in its sole judgment, considers abusive or contrary to the intent of the Programme
5.2 — Consequences of Fraud

Where fraud or misuse is suspected or confirmed, MFiling may:

  • Withhold pending rewards
  • Reverse or recover previously credited rewards
  • Suspend or permanently terminate the Referrer's and/or Referee's accounts
  • Take such further legal action as MFiling deems appropriate
5.3 — Final Determination

MFiling's determination on all matters relating to fraud, eligibility, and disqualification shall be final and binding.

6 Modifications & Termination

MFiling reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently terminate the Programme at any time with or without notice. Any modifications to reward amounts, eligibility criteria, minimum thresholds, or Programme Terms will be communicated via the Programme page and apply prospectively from the date of publication. MFiling may also introduce a cap on the number of referrals per Referrer per calendar month; any such cap will be communicated on the Programme page.

7 Tax Liability

Referral rewards received under this Programme may constitute taxable income under applicable Indian tax laws, including the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Referrer is solely responsible for declaring and discharging any tax liability arising from rewards received. MFiling may deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) on rewards before credit as required by law and will issue TDS certificates accordingly. MFiling is not liable for any tax consequences arising from Programme participation.

8 Privacy & Data

By participating in the Programme, Referrers consent to MFiling collecting, storing, and processing their personal data — including name, contact information, and transaction data — for the purpose of administering the Programme. Data is handled in accordance with MFiling's Privacy Policy. Referrers are responsible for ensuring that Referees consent to the sharing of their details with MFiling for Programme tracking purposes.

9 Limitation of Liability

MFiling shall have no liability to any Referrer or Referee under this Programme beyond the reward amounts expressly described in Clause 3. MFiling is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from Programme participation, including but not limited to technical errors in referral tracking, reward credit delays, or Programme suspension.

10 General Conditions

10.1 — Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the Programme constitutes unconditional acceptance of all Terms and Conditions herein.

10.2 — Relationship with Other Terms

These Terms supplement MFiling's general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both of which continue to apply in full. In the event of any conflict with MFiling's general Terms of Use on Programme-related matters, these Terms shall prevail.

10.3 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction
